Hello!
I have a somewhat interesting situation.. What I have is a Dell laptop with a seemingly damaged HDD. It has 3 partitions, DELLUTILITY, Recovery, and a third partition for the OS. I have used a program on Hiren's Boot CD to determine that this drive is damaged and I found that the damage is only in the third partition as listed above. To avoid a headache later I am attempting to backup the two good partitions from the failing disk and restore them to a new disk to install the OS using Dell's restoration utility. Is this concept possible?
