Can I run empire total war?

I have a intel e4500 duel core duo 2.2ghz, 4gb DDR2 ram, and a EVGA 8800gts 320mb. I just need to know from what I researched I think the CPU is powerful enough I'm just not sure about the GPU. I know it probably won't run well on high settings i just want to know if it will run smooth on low to medium settings I appreciate any help thanks.

You are well above the minimum specs. I don't know exactly what it would run like but it should be okay. I suggest running VSYNC OFF and aiming for about 30 to 40FPS when you tweak the various settings.
