Hi, I'm looking to invest in a new, and more powerful GPU upgrade, preferably the GTX 760.
Although I'm afraid my current system may not be sufficient to run such a card, here are my specs:
AMD FX-6300 6 Core Bulldozer CPU OVERCLOCKED to 3.7GHz
AMD HD 6670.
8GB DDR3 Memory
Corsair VS 450 watts bronze
Running on a 1920x1080 monitor.
Will it run ''okay'' on my system, and if not, what cards would you recommend? Preferably a nvidia card, not a fan of AMD.

I agree with mf Red. I recommend a Corsair TX 650/750 for ample power. Do not buy PNY, I've had bad experiences with them. Instead use Asus, EVGA, or MSi. Much better quality.

Your psu has a single 12v rail rated at 34Amps. The PNY 760 has a minimum psu requirement of 500W, with 30Amps on the 12v rail. The GTX 660's call for a psu minimum of 450w, 24Amps on 12v rail. Basically the GTX 760 will not run, your psu is too small. Its a decent psu, just not designed for higher end graphics cards.

The XFX Core Edition PRO550W is a very good psu, and with 44A on the 12v rail is more than enough to power the GTX 760. It also very well priced at @ $65. Recommend Asus, Gigabyte or MSi
