Hello. I am building a new puter. I need to find out if the SSD's need a special power connection from the PS? Nothing seems to indicate, but thought I should ask. Never built a puter with the SSD's.

These are what I am thinking of using. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148695

Just want to make sure, if somebody could help me out. The only other question I thought of is, do these need to actually be mounted? Being flash, they dont need mounted in a bay, since it is a desktop, and I never move them. No need to waste the cash on a mounting device, is there?

Thank You for your time.

Solution
Regular SATA power as you would find on a hard disk drive, mounting is typically required but most SSDs include a size changer for the mounting bay since they dont usually fit standard hard drive bays

A SATA SSD (all current ones) use exactly the same data and power connectors as a regular HDD.

Mount? Many, many cases have a 2.5" mount space, just for these. My 18 month old Antec has two.
And if not, many SSD's include a 2.5"-3.5" mount adapter.
Failing that...mount plates can be had for cheap.
