Hello all and thanks for taking the time to read this. I just purchased a Asus Crosshair V formula Z am3+ motherboard and LOVE IT!... my question is this motherboard has a q-code led display on it located at the top right of the board. When my system successfully boots into windows it leaves it to display " AA " constantly. I have had other boards before with this same feature however they always displayed my current cpu temp. Is there a setting I'm missing or any way possible to get it to show my cpu temp as that would be just AWESOME!!
Thanks in advance

thanks for the reply, I have found the list of codes in my manual...it's quite a impressive feature. My question still is still unanswered tho. As I mentioned above, I have had a few other motherboard with this same feature however once the system was fully booted it would display the current cpu temperature. Is there any way to make this motherboard do this?

i too won a rog asus crosshair v formula z. the q code is to display basic status of POST. it will tell you if something is wrong ect.. or if everything is working. although to answer your question the Crosshair formula z does have the ability to connect emp gauges to the board if that is your thing. sold separately though
