Ok, so I rebuilt my PC recently but did not upgrade my video card. A long story short I had a GTX470 and it was dying, I had to buy a new card while I did the RMA process, and the best I could afford at the time was BestBuys EVGA GTX660 . I now have the funds to either buy another GTX660 or a single GTX770 4gb version.
My computer specs are as follows:
MSI Z87M Motherboard
Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600 (16gb)
Intel i5 4670k CPU
Corsair TX850 PSU
Samsung 250gb SSD
Corsair C70 Case
I have (5) Corsair Air Series fans, 2 are the performance edition the other 3 are quiet editions.
I have 2 Acer 23" LED monitors nothing fancy like IPS or anything just standard monitors they are the S231HL.
My typical usage is single monitor gaming, I play FPS games like CoD and upcoming TItanFall, as well as Diablo3. And I really want to run at max settings. With all this in mind, will I benefit more from doing SLI 660s or a single 770?
From the searching I did it seems to lean more towards the 770 but I figured why not just ask some folks.
Thanks for any input.
