Okay, where to start... As the title says thats whats happening... My computer randomly shuts down and reboots. I believe it to be some sort of hardware issue... History of this problem: When I first got this custom built PC it was instantly shutting down and rebooting. My cousin who built it and is a computer programmer tried all he knew of to fix it but to no avail. So after awhile I figured out that having games open would keep it from crashing and eventually (like a month) the problem went away, and eventually i just forgot about it... A year later the problem arises again but this time having games open doesn't help offset the crashing. I have reinstalled windows 7 from disk on a new hdd, and still crashes. I've bought a new mobo, and still crashes. I recently just bought a new GPU but that hasn't come in yet. So all the drivers are up to date and I've check the temperature ranges for my parts and everything is in the safe range. I've checked the ram with the built in memory checker program that comes with windows and it found no problems. So what do you think it is? Bad GPU? CPU? PSU? Those are about the only 3 things that I could think of being the problem... My specs are (with the new mobo) Asrock 990fx extreme3 mobo, AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor, 3400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series GPU. 2 sticks of ram something like G skill sniper ram or something like that. PSU logisys PS575XBK.
It's been a B I G G G G G thorn in every part of my body so if you know what it is or something that will help please help me =).

Also for more details, Instant shut down and rebooting of my system is unpredictable. When my computer powers up for the first time in the day it crashes as soon as it hits account log in screen. After that it startings slowly crashing less often, but in the start of the day it tends to crash very often, and towards the mid-late day it only tends to crash like every 30 minutes to like 1-2 hours. Also, the crashing is random, weather it be playing video games, youtube, or just idling it crashes during any of them at any time.

I don't know if you fixed it yet, so i will give you some recommendations.
First of all with what you did you can't rule out the RAM memory. Try each slot in each single motherboard slot. If the problem persists you can rule out the ram (that should be around 8 tries, cause you have 2 sticks and 4 motherboard slots).
Secondly, if you have a spare psu that can support your rig, try exchangeing it with yours (it has to be a PSU with enough wattage and you have to take it from a healthy system, or know for sure that it works). If the problem persists, its not the PSU (although you could think about a change as soon as possible, as your psu is pretty bad).
Good PSU brands are Corsair, Anteq and SeaSonic to name a few.
As you changed the motherboard, we can rule it out. But it could be the CPU. There is no direct way to test it, so i would do what i already told you first, and also getting off the video card, and uninstall the drivers, to be sure its not GPU related, if it persists the only other piece of hardware left is the CPU, so i would change it.
Hope it helped.
