Please, I'm not trying to get the best answer. I'm just giving the right information rather than misleading the asker.

A good quality 600 watts PSU comes at much lower price point.

If you have the money you can have any PSU in the market but I am just mentioning what is actually required.

As did I, when I said "600+ watts".

But you recommended a HX 750 watts which is not at all required for a single 770 and would not serve any purpose except adding to the cost. Even if you want a SLI with 2 770s in the future you need at least 850W.

As I have mentioned in my earlier post a very good quality seasonic 620W psu is available at 79.99 dollars from Amazon.com. So, its much less expensive than HX 750.

Again, there's no harm in having some extra power if you can afford it but it should come in use in the future. For that its better to get a 850W so that you can SLI another 770 in the future. Getting a 750W serves no purpose and a PC with a single 770 will not perform any better with a 750W than a 650W. They will perform the same.

Components BESIDES the gpu do consume power you know. I didn't say that the hx series is the best for a budget, it definitely isn't, though it really is high quality, which is why I recommended it, and OP didn't specify on budget.
