Cant access my data

I have 2TB seagate external hardrive which i borrowed out to a friend and it came back with a trojan horse virus which my pc yielded, now i cant access my data even though it shows that my data is still there when i check properties. there used to be a hardrive icon which i used to click to access my data, now that icon is gone. I NEED HELP! What do i do

You CAN send the drive off to a data recovery service, but it can be very expensive, OR you can use something like EaseUs Data Recovery, but you are going to have to pay for that to recover data.
