What's your budget? the GT 630 is more powerful than the 620 but you can probably get better cards from AMD at that price point
At the very least I'd recommend getting a 6570/6670 for games at 720p if you're on a very tight budget
The bare minimum in my opinion would be the Radeon 7750 GDDR5 version

If you only want Nvidia then the least I'd get would be a 650, the 750 and 750 Ti should be released in a few days so they'd be worth a look, forget the old rebrands (620/630), they're not worth it

you can get the GT630 for gaming on low settings and low resolution but make sure to get the GDDR5 version which is much faster than the DDR3 with a difference of 5-10$ in price
