hi, hi
a bit confused here.

is it suspicious that when i tried to update java that it was "unsigned"?

i was just wondering if this was normal.
and if this usually happens.

should i be concerned, or could it have been an attempt by a malicious program or something?
i am curious about this.
i am really mystified about this whole networking thing.

Solution
java is a malware magnet and is not even needed anymore.as long as your browser enables javascript (not to be confused with java) you can,and should delete everything java.

aldan, my friend,

i need java (not java script) to run 3 of my programs.
i just recently heard of javascript. what is it?
i think i heard something about malware using javascript in some instances.

so it would be safe for me, then, to delete all Java, and then reinstall a fresh install of it again?
or what about setting it up in the firewall option to block all except exceptions for programs
[to create an exception (allow exceptions) for this program?]

at first i thought that "don't allow any exceptions" would be good until i found out that you wouldn't even have internet connection at this point?
[and none of your programs that required internet wouldn't run either]
