Hello, first time poster looking for advice on a first build, max $2000 but willing to go a bit higher if there's a good reason to. Will be used primarily for gaming and occasional hosting of game servers (gmod, civ 5, eu4), but I also want it to be able to edit videos, stream etc if it takes my fancy. I want to futureproof it as much as possible, and have the ability to add more parts to it such as another graphics card, more ram or storage later on. I live in Australia and it gets hot, so adequate cooling is important but I still want it to be fairly silent. I have a fair bit of space under my desk so no small form factor cases. I’d rather not overclock until it’s almost ready for an upgrade for that part. I’ll be gaming in 1440p all the time, I already have the monitor. I’ll be buying this around March/April, but can wait longer if necessary for new parts or stock.

My plan with this build is to get something that will max most games for 2 years or so, then buy more ram and another r9 290 to put in crossfire. Any advice or input is appreciated, but I'm not too certain about whether the motherboard, case and ram are good so any information about those is doubly appreciated. I've also been debating getting a bigger power supply in case I decide to put a 3rd r9 290 in there. Is another r9 290 likely to be needed before I have to upgrade the majority of my system?
