I currently have a 9800GT but it's definetly on its way out due to it working at 110 degrees when gaming and keeps crashing.

I was initially thinking about purchasing a Radeon 7750 due to the fairly cheap price (£50) however I can buy a 7770 for £74. Will it be noticeably faster? I don't really want to go over £80. Also will a 400w power supply be enough to power a 7770 and my processor is a Intel 2 Quad Q9400. I only want to play games on medium / high settings at 1400x900 resolution

Radeon 7770 (Don't know much about Powercolour)

Any alternative suggestions are welcome

Thanks

please don't buy from ebay, unless you know exactly what you are doing, those cards are previous gen (kind of).

with your res 1GB would not be too much of a problem. But if you look for daily deals on scan, aria, ebuyer and overclockers for a 260X i reckon you might find a 2Gb card for your price range every now and then, or a slightly better deal on a 1GB.
