Hi guys, am looking for a decent earbuds (not headsets) for under US$50+/-10 for gaming & music listening. I don't like headsets coz they are big, heat up my ears in summer & terrible to carry in case I wanna put them in my laptop's bag...etc.
Currently am using my SONY's smartphone earbuds model MH650c but want a better sound quality that produces a great bass along with quality sound. The problem with this SONY earbuds is I can't use the mic when connecting it to my PC & am not sure buying a "Smartphone Headset to PC Adapter converter" would solve the issue without affecting the sound quality like this one:

I fancy these earbuds by Dr.Dre but am not sure if they are up to the job concerning their price:
