Mobo - ASRock 907DE3/U3S3 BIOS 1.20
GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 780

New build, fresh Windows 8.1 install. Most recent Nvidia driver. I have to use a DVI-to-VGA adapter to plug in to the video card. The card has only one HDMI slot. When I plug in the HDMI cable, I get no signal to my monitor. Tried different cables and different HDMI slots on the TV. My cable is fine and my HDMI monitor is fine because I use the same cable and monitor with my laptop with no problems.

UPDATE: For the past month I've been using the DVI-I to VGA adapter. Whenever I connect a 2nd monitor via HDMI, the VGA monitor gives me a black screen, a picture for a second or two, then back to black screen. When I unplug HDMI, the VGA picture comes back, and I get a popup saying NVIDIA has crashed and recovered. Any ideas on whats causing this?
