Don't go with ubuntu for gaming. Do this:
- Fx 8320
- Cooler Master Hyper 212+
-Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
- Corsair Carbide 200r
- GTX 770 or R9 280X
- Samsung 840 evo 120GB
- Corsair Vengeance 8GB
- Western Digital Blue 2TB
- Corsair CX650M
- Windows 7 or 8.1 (dont take Windows 8, take 8.1)

I don't believe the Cooler Master Hyper 412S will fit in your case, so I put a AIO in there better and same price.
For two R9 280X will you want 750w PSU.
Let me know what you think.

The CPU cooler I put in there is a (AIO) All-in-one closed loop water cooler, much better then what you had and same price, also your old cooler (COOLERMASTER HYPER 412S) may not have of fit in your case.
