Hi guys

I bought this laptop in May 2013.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BETVISY/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has a 750GB Hard-Drive in it.
I have came to a circumstance that I need to format my laptop, so since I am formatting it I want to look at upgrading the Hard Drive capabilities.
I have looked online. Some GT70 models have the ability to upgrade and some don't.. So I thought I would ask the experts here.

Does anybody know if this specific model (0ND-1021UK) has the correct sockets to fit an SSD inside. And if so, what socket of SSD would I require?

I would open the laptop myself but it will void the warranty. I am willing to void the warranty IF I can upgrade the SSD - But it seems silly to avoid it and find out that it isn't upgradeable.

Thank you

This may be possible if you use a SATA to USB cable and a 2.5inch/1.8inch SSD drive.
