I am throwing together a few things I had laying around to make a desktop to use daily. I am planning on doing some light gaming on this as well, but my cpu cooler (stock intel for the i3) is starting to get loud.
I am using an itx board (asrock h77m-itx) as well as a video card (Zotac GeForce GTX 650 Ti amp!) so I am working with a very tight space. My concern is the stock intel cooler just about hits the video card as it is.
I have been reading reviews and most seem to focus on the hight of the coolers themselves. I am using a fractal core 1000 case i had kicking around so I have plenty of height to work with. There are a few upright coolers that look like the might work, but without mounting them I am not sure if they will strain or even flex the motherboard standing upright in a tower.

If anyone has suggestions or even some photos with there itx setup I would greatly appreciate it.

I am on a budget with this build so i am trying to keep this sub $60, I hope I can get something descent. I am not planning on overclocking at the moment but overkill isn't a bad thing with cooling I think.
Thanks

Hi thanks for the replay
I saw the low profile review there do look like a couple options in there. But it seems like there all talking about hight of the coolers. The thing I am concerned about is the width of the cooler. If I get something thats wider than the stock cooler I am worried it will hang over the PCIe slot that the video card is seated in.

I haven't looked into the closed loop option, though never using a water cooler I am worried about noob things like the radiator leaking. Think $60 could get me one?
Thanks again

Thats a sweet looking setup! I think the h50 would do for what I am looking for. What kind of timeframe have you owned it for? I am wondering about there reliability.
I work with auto parts and have done so for the last 7 years and have a lot of experience with radiators. How has your personal experience been as far as reliability? I absolutely cannot afford to replace this rig should that fail.

I had my H60 2+ years...never one leak, no pump issues, no rad problems. Replaced to an H110 last month, another great performer.
