would buying a delta 120mm fan be useful?

i'm just thinking, if i use that for a radiator, would it actually be just too strong that it's just as powerful as a normal fan?(like there is a limit to how much you can cool?)
and is ther like a safer option? cuz it really looks like they rigged a fan blade into a hard disk motor, it's spinning at 5200rpm, and it's dangerous,
so... is it worth it?
is there any safety for it? like a ring mesh
and,
what fan controller? i only want to rig that for only 2-3 fans only, i use a BitFenix Phenom M with rads, so there is no room, can i control it from my computer?

I think at a certain point the flow speed of the pump becomes more of a limiting factor to the cooling than airflow through the radiator. As far as safety, buying a fan grill separately isn't that expensive (I saw one for $2.99 at Newegg). According to Newegg reviews of the 120mm 5200rpm model, it does work with a fan controller, though you might need an extra-high-end fan controller to handle one, since it draws up to 30 watts. Also remember to consider that it's 38mm thick and at full speed it generates 62 dBA of noise. One of the reviews mentions that it could take off if not locked down. I'm willing to believe that's not an exaggeration, so if you have a small case, you might want to try to calculate the thrust to make sure the fans won't blow your case out of position.
