Does fx-8350 work with this MB?

Hi

Im wondering if the FX-8350 processor would work with my current Mobo:

Gigabyte 970A-D3 (I have no idea which rev is it...)

I think its the 3.0 one but im not sure.. my BIOS version is FD but the website says it fits the FB version?

The website doesn't say "it fits the FB version", it's "Since BIOS Version FB". FD is the latest version.

The Revision number of the motherboard is printed in the lower left corner of the motherboard next to where it says, "Designed in Taipei".

First thing you do is look at the pcb and see what revision your board is. Then go to the Gigabyte web site and look up the supported cpu's and what bios version needed. Upgrade your bios first if necessary. That board has 8+2 power phase and heatsinked vrm's so you might get a decent performance. Don't expect to get a crazy overclock with that board without blowing it up with a 8350.
