WIndows 8.1 BF4 crash after 5 minutes. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey guys i just made a new pc and when i try to run BF4, i can play for about 5 minutes before it completely freezes. This also happens in a few benchmarks, even when I am not overclocking. When 3DMark crashes, it says there is a directx problem. When either freeze i have to Ctrl alt dlt to open task manager and end it. The problem is not punkbuster, i don't know what it is. I also get the crashes even when not overclocking. Anyone having a similar issue? Thanks is advance

Try looking at the task manager-> performance to monitor your system resources. switch to it immediately at the hang so that you can check if the ram usage went too high or the read/write to disk gave you the issues.
Also, make sure that your ram/gpu connections are tight and proper.
