My computer sometimes doesn't recognize any wireless connection and when I try to plug an ethernet cord in, it still won't work. I will have internet one minute and then it will kick me off the connection and not recognize that wireless is even available. Sometimes if I restart my computer it will work again for a while until it decides to kick me off again. Could my wireless adapter be damaged? And is that something that can easily be replaced?

try disconnect modem and router from the wall for couple minutes and then plug it buck and restart your computer at the same time. what router adapter you using connect wirelessy.

You should buy a wireless adapter as they are very cheap and your motherboard wireless may be to blame. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833106191
