First time builder here, and first post in the forums.

Just put together a new rig a few months ago. Everything upgraded (MOBO, CPU, ram) except PSU, GPU and my SSD and HDD.

System has been running fine for the past few months, until it failed to post the other night. Restarted the computer, and it worked fine. It happened again a few nights later, tried to restart again with no success. The lights would turn on and the fans would run, but nothing would come up on the screen. I called a buddy for help, computer still on (not posting), and about 6 mins into my phone call the BIOS stuff started scrolling across the screen and it started up just fine. Last night I restarted the computer and that was it. Haven't been able to turn it on since.

I've disconnected everything except the ram. Tried clearing CMOS (pretty sure I did it right..). Tried troubleshooting the ram sticks to see if one is dead. Still no dice.

Here are the codes that flash by on Dr. Debug: 4F, 15, 56, 49, 55, 3b. It stays on 4F the longest before quickly flashing through the others.

System Specs:
Asrock z77 extreme6 MOBO
Intel i7-3770k
G. Skill Sniper 1866 (4Gx2)
Invidia GeForce GTX580
Intel SSD 520 Series 240GB
WD 1.5TB HDD
Corsair TX650W PSU
BIOS V. 2.70

Again, everything was working perfectly before this. No crashes, no weird behavior. It's an entertainment rig for gaming, movies, etc. and it's had no issues until just recently.

Any help appreciated!!

Sorry for not updating this. I'm guessing by now you've solved the issue? Turns out my BIOS was corrupt, so replacing the chip would probably work. I called ASROCK and ended up just doing an RMA with the whole MOBO. No issues, problem solved. Hope this helps!

Also, I found during the process that actually calling them is a better way to get answers and updates on RMA status. They will help you, but they're slow to email updates.
