Hey everyone,
i'm using an old E8400 (will upgrade soon) on a Gigabyte GA-G41M-COMBO Rev. 2.0. The first time i OCed it (to 3.5) it worked but now after OC, it doesn't post and turns on and off. RAM/GPU OCing works fine
Specs:
CPU and mobo above
Gigabyte GTX 650Ti 1GB Triangle cool (the small one)
4GB DDR3 1600 (it takes it down to 1333)
212 EVO
Seasonic S12-520W 80+ PSU.

Reset your bios it's different depending on your motherboard so if you need more specific help google how to reset bios. I've had the same thing happen to me it means your overclock isn't working right. something isn't stable about you overclock.

Guys, I did a mistake here:
In order to get the system to work I need to clear the CMOS wich resets all the settings, I know that, I'm not that dumb, but the problem is that I cant OC it at all!

right I meant to say cmos but if you already did that then you might have bigger problems that's always the first step. Not posting at all means something is not "online" so either processor or motherboard failed. If you havent done it already I would probably make sure all ram is seated, processor properly seated, all the caps are there and in good shape both psu cables are all the way plugged in. Processors are usually pretty resilient unless you do something crazy with you overclock. Over locking does however shorten the life of your components so you may need to upgrade sooner than you may have wanted to.

Upgrade will happen in April.
However after the first success OC, the mobo fell off the table and one SATA Port got broken also some IDE pins were bent but I fixed them, and I'm afraid that something happened then, since the system turned off when it fell.
