I am a little confused to say the least. I have the following systems;

System A:
Asus P9X79 Deluxe
Intel i7 3820
32GB RAM
GUP - NVIDIA Quadro 4000

System B (newley obtained):
Gigabyte gA-P67A-UD7-B#
Intel i5 2500
32GB RAM
GPU - NVIDIA 8600GT

I just picked up system B and using the NVIDIA 8600GT I was able to get an image on the screen and install Windows. However, I removed that GPU and put in my old GTX 460. With the GTX 460, nothing appeared on the screen. I tried all combination of cables and PCI Express combinations with no luck. I ensured the Mobo is set to look for the display adapter in PCI-Express slot 1 and this is now where the GPU is. Nothing.

I thought I must have fried my GTX460. To test, put the GTX460 in System A and it worked fine! I then used the Quadro 4000 from System A and put it in System B and it worked fine as well!

Screen or no screen image, I know System B is posting and booting just fine as the Mobo LEDs indicate as such. I just find it beyond confusing that System B will display an image with an NVIDIA Quadro 4000, and 8600GT but not with my GTX 460. Any ideas?

To state the obvious, yes I did ensure I am using the correct PCI Express slot and I did ensure that the GTX 460 was connected to the PSU.
