So i'm not sure if i'm posting this in the correct place, but i built a computer a few years ago, and it has had some issues, most of which i have resolved, but it continues to have popping in the audio.
I used DPC Latency Checker, and found by disabling certain parts that it was my Broadcom Ethernet NIC.

I'm trying to see if broadcom has any updates, but i can't figure out which version i have. any help?

it came with my ASROCK z77 extreme6

Try your appropriate OS driver from here http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netxtreme_...

I would also recommend getting an Intel NIC as Intel has great hardware and driver support for their network cards. Here is a $31 NIC that will last you a long time. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

i updated the driver, and it fixed the problem for a little bit, but now my latency is super high again.
