Freq. hanging and restarting. Out of ideas. Help.

Recently my PC has had a persistent issue with hanging under load, and frequent restarting while idle. The logs show this happening several times a day while idle up to once per hour. When I put a load on it, frequently it will run fine for a period then just hang for no apparent reason. When it hangs it the lights on my keyboard and mouse shut off, leading me to a mobo issue but I am not sure. Any help is appreciated.

CPU: i5-3570k @ 4.2Ghz
GPU: EVGA 670 2GB
PSU: Corsair TX750
Mobo: Gigabyte Z77 UD5H
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws

Well I restored the BIOS settings to stock and let it run for awhile that way, and then slowly cranked them back up on my memory and CPU running at 4.2 and 9-9-9-24 again and haven't had any issues... I guess I will run it for awhile and see. Thanks for all the replies. If anything comes up I will def. be back here again.
