Wondering wether I should install Windows 7 on an old hard drive

I was wondering if I should reinstall Windows 7 on my old 160gb hard drive and use my 500gb new hard drive to put games and programs on. I'm thinking that windows would load a bit faster if it was separated with all the files.

The hard drives are both 3.5" 7200rpm Maxtor DiamondMax20.

I would appreciate whoever contributes to answering my short question.

It will be surely a mess
Install Windows in 500 gb hard drive Still there will a lot of space for your games
