how to manually adjust my asus p5kpl-vm motherboard from ddr2 800 to ddr2 1066?

When you go into your bios you should have the ability to select your desired dram freq:

See the 10sec mark of the video, for an instant the video poster adjusted his freq. I know the vid has an asus p5kpl-cm and yours is a vm but hopefully this is close enough and works for you. Hopefully 1066 is there to choose from. Also, you may need to adjust your voltage if allowed if this isn't stable at first. Hopefully this works for you! Best of luck!
