What psu to get! Pls help!

Hi im going to get a msi b75a-g43 gaming motherboard and a msi gtx 770 and a intel i5 4670k and a corsair h60. And i dont know what psu to get! i was going to get the corsair cs650 but i think it wont work! cus it got the 8 and 4 pin on pci e but the gtx 770 needs 8 and 6 pin. And also the motherboard needs the 24 pin and 12v something and i dont also understand that.

Pls help should i keepcthe corsair CS650. or should i choose another one! thx before

What do u mean its cheap? is it bad? the question was. does it work for my build? if so im probably buying it. why is the seasonic better?

I have had a Corsair Gs 700 for over two years now and it still works great. I ran crossfire 6870s and now crossfire r9 270s no problems.

Are you sure that processor fits that board I cant get them to match up on pcpartpicker?

the cpu has pci express 8pin 6+2. and the gpu needs one 6pin and one 8pin!

sy i am getting the i5 34 some or the one with the3 :)  cant remember atm! but do u know any psu that will work with the msi gtx 770 gpus power consume. correct me if im wrong but the gtx 770 takes either one 8 pin and one 6 pin or two 8 pins! PLZ HELP

Most new PSUs have at least two PCI-E cables, and they are typically one 8 pin and one 6+2 pin.

The GS600 has two PCI-E cables, and I would assume those are 6+2, but I can't find a pic/info to confirm 100%.

Edit, see above, looks like blackbird has confirmation.

one more question do i need an adapter to 8 pin or is it ok cus that it is 6+2?

A 6+2 pin is an 8 pin, they look like this



The 770 looks like this:


So you'll plug one 8 pin (6+2) and one 6 pin (leaving out the +2 hanging).

No adapter needed the 6+2 is 8 , for six pin you just leave out the extra 2 pin.
