Ok so I bought The Crosshair V for new PC build. I get power to motherboard but will not start up. All the lights come on , on the board startup button ect . I am using a Corsair CX 750 M power supply 750 watts. I installed a Geoforce GTX 760 video card . I am using DDR 1333 ram which according to specs is comapatible. 16 gb . I have removed the motherboard battery after unplugging power supply reinstalled it and tired to start again nothing. I removed main power cable to board and CPU cable on mother board and reseated both plugged it back in and still nothing. I am frustrated . I have repeated these steps many times and still nothing. The first time I tried to start up it came on for second ,fan lit up and turned and died .And since then not even that. Any help would be appreciated.

Stay away from CX Series supplies , they are cheap with poor capacitors.

I bought a thermaltake 750 watt smart series 80 bronze . I hooked everything up 24 pin power cable 4 pin cpu cable hard drives , and DVD/CDR . I used the Q connector for front panel hookup. I hit the start button ,fan turns and lights up for a second and dies WTF !!!!! On same side as 4 pin cpu to the left of the 4 pin cpu plug is a grey connector that has room for 8 pins does that need a plug? and if so All I have left that could work are PCIE 6 with a 2 . Help ! MY son is driving me nuts I have built about 10 PC's and have never had this happen except for once and that time reseated the 24 pin and everything worked after that, this MOBO no go.
