Good OS for gaming?

So right now, I'm building my future gaming PC. I already finish the build but i have problem choosing OS. Some said Win7 , some said win8. I wanted to get Win8 but some said it's has tons of problems and driver problems. So what OS do you think best for gaming?

Personally i really want to try out the Windows 8 but because of those driver problems. I will be playing games such as League of Legends, COD, Battlefield, Crysis.... all kind of those heavy games. Do you think it will conflict with windows 8? Have you experience any problems with windows 8? If i'm going to get windows 8, which version should i get?( they have the 8.1 old version, 8.1 OEM,etc.)
