I have a bit unique situation. I own old Dell Inspirion 1520 - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 with 4 of RAM. Recently my laptop started act weird - it significantly slowed down and the battery status was "no charging". The task manager shows that my CPU is working 100% on some easy tasks and the Windows rating shows drop from 6 to 2.4 in CPU un 2.9 in memory (no other drops). I tried some things but no one helped, except one. I unplugged charging cable from laptop and run it on battery, 1-2min latter laptop was at its best, everything started to work smoothly, even the ratings were back to normal and battery was charging when I plugged it.
I am using Win7 64x, I tried reinstall it, but it did not help. Maybe some one have encountered something similar or knows what may cause this problem? I personally thing it is the age of PC and the motherboard is starting to failure.
