Hello folks,
I am having trouble enabling my rig up with SLI in the NVIDIA control panel. This shows up when it should show me SLI settings: http://imgur.com/O7bISH7.
I had the 770 SLI working and it was enabled but I decided I wanted to install a sound card in my system. So I went out, bought one, and installed it in a PCIe x8 slot in between my 2 cards (the 770s aren't stacked). I removed the SLI bridge because it was in the way of installing the sound card but I installed it back. I boot up my computer and strangely it was like I was booting up windows for the first time. My graphic cards had no video drivers. I was sort of puzzled but I just installed them again and installed the sound card drivers and everything was fine. Until I went to enable SLI and it won't let me. Both cards have drivers installed and are in the device manager.
I did a little troubleshooting and flipped the SLI bridge and that didn't work (It probably doesn't matter). I tried simple rebooting and that doesn't work. I haven't tried uninstalling the sound card but that shouldn't be the issue. I am wondering if I somehow damaged my SLI bridge maybe? I did handle the installation fine and took the precautions to ESD.
here are my specs: CPU: i7 4770k
First GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 770
Second GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770
Mobo: Gigabyte z87x-OC
