They're both respectable companies. I've used a few Corsair RAM products (currently have 16GB Vengeance in my desktop) and I have no complaints.

One is Heads, One is Tails, flip the coin. Either would be good, and if one is on sale, that's a bonus.

what kind of CPU cooler do you use on your set-up? there's more than the performance aspect that should be considered like the RAM height because if you use after market aircoolers it WILL (notice the emphasis through capitalization) become an issue, not to mention if it overclocks well (in case you do consider to do that)

if you like both looks and be still be compatible with most aircoolers go the gskill, but corsair also has the low profile edition of the vengeance rams you can look it up...

I'm just using a stock Intel Core i7-4770K fan.

if you don't have ANY plans at all for better cooling (whether air or liquid since either contributes to better cooling thus better performance) then you couldn't go wrong with either brand as long as its DDR-3 and >=1600Mhz... you might find the corsair vengeance or gskill ripjaws on sale on newegg so basically it boils down to what you like...

I really like G.skill but make sure if you buy a cpu cooler it fits the heatspreaders on both ram company's are huge. ( g.Skills is a bit bigger though).
