Yes I know this question has been asked before. Yes I know people say go with the H80i.

I want to know if the H80i is really worth it. Right now it's $89 on newegg and the H80 is $54. As far as I can tell the only difference between the two is the corsair link. I'm not too concerned with noise as I use headphones and can barely hear my CPU and GPU fans spinning at 3000rpm.

I have a fan controller on my case that I can plug the cooler's fans into if I need to adjust the speeds.

The noise difference between the two is only about about 2 dBA. In terms of air flow the H80 moves about 15 CFM more than the H80i and also has a higher static pressure.

I do plan to overclock my CPU, an A10-5800k, as much as I can. I also want to use this liquid cooler as long as possible. If the H80i has a longer lifespan it might change my mind. Both coolers have a 5 year warranty.

There's no real right or wrong answer, I'm just looking for opinions. I just want something that will perform the best for a long period of time.

I want to mention that due to the design of my case, a 140mm or 240mm cooler will not fit. I only have 120mm fan mounts. There's a drive cage in the way and a 240mm radiator plus the fans will conflict with my ram. I have a Raidmax Orion and a MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 in case you're wondering.

If you're interested about the inside of my PC, here's a picture.

Wires are a little bit of a mess but at least they aren't all over the place. That PEG power cable is rather short though. There is no slack at all on the back of the motherboard tray. Still not bad for my first custom built PC.
