Hey guys, quick opinions if you would about which case you think would be better. I'm not one to care much about the aesthetics of a computer, so I'm looking more for quality than I am looks.

So, which of these 2 cases do you think would be the better pick?

or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146067

They are both about the same price, but what do you think is better?

Also, if you have opinions on a 120 dollar or less case that you think would be better than even these two, please post them! Curious to see!

Thanks guys.

Well, Comparing these two cases is quite hard, But I will give it a shot.

First, the Cooler master is great look-wise. It has some very nice front grills which provide great airflow for the internal parts. It is also extremely strong and quite robust. So damage will be minimal is the case is tipped up or knocked over accidently. There is not much to say about this case apart from that it is strong and you shouldn't have any trouble fan-wise as it can support 3 x 230mm fans and 1 x 140mm rear fan.

Finally, The NZXT Phantom in my opinion is one of my favourite of the NZXT cases. It's countless colours and different setups are what make this case great. It also has great cable management and also great cooling setups. Cooling in this rig...

NZXT was my first choice as well noob, I just didn't know how the coolermasters were, and since that case is on presidents day sale, i thought i would ask.

Still taking opinions. If you would, please also list why you think its better (Better fans? More room? Better airflow? Just better looking? etc)

I am not a fan of plastic. I would go the steel route. That Cooler Master case is highly reviewed. Love the air flow and the cable management options with this case.

More room, more expansion and mod capabilities. More future "reliable" imho.

And black is just a nice color that shows off interior lighting really well.

That case is a win-win imo.

It's up to you though in the end. Just be slow and methodical. Sleep on it.

I currently have a Coolermaster Stacker 830 case, but for my recent build I went with the mid tower version of the NZXT case you linked.

I chose the NZXT case over the Coolermaster because of the air current. The Coolermaster has high air flow, true, however with huge fans in the top, side front and back the machine has a large amount of air turbulence inside the case which can cause pockets of stagnate hot air to just keep swirling around inside the case instead of a nice orderly flow if air that is pulled in from the front and pushed out the back pulling all the heat with it.

Overall, Here are some links to help you choose wisely,

Cooler master HAF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmLlHkvaqOE
NZXT Phantom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UexkSEhn4oU

So overall if you want good water cooling setups and customization go for the NZXT and if you want to make use of air cooling and fans also if you want an accident-proof case go for the HAF.

Thanks for those videos! I think I'm going to stick with the phantom, as it seems that alot of people tend to think the HAF just sucks up and holds alot of dust since there are no filters, which the phantom have/etc
