Thats a tricky one.

The only real change to make would be to drop the 1866mhz ram to 1600 but that only gives a saving of 10$ or so.

If you want to knock money off then lose the SSD. It is not needed in a gaming build, what it helps for is loading time and OS boot load so you can do without it.

After that, If you're still looking to knock some money off you should probably look at changing the CPU + Mobo or GPU.

Either scale them down slightly or look into the AMD route.

Final thoughts would be if your budget allows for your original PC part list,

Swap the 1866mhz ram for 1600mhz and swap the 500gb HDD for 1tb one.

would the ssd drive help with that and that hdd was a lttle spendy other than that I would a good gaming machine

Hi there,

Yes a SSD will help with all that, but general consensus is that you use the SSD for OS and regularly used/important games/applications to truly utilise its speed, saving the HDD for everything else.

For this reason I would still suggest a larger size one but it comes down to your budget.

Bearing in mind that nothing stops you either adding in another HDD at a later date of even purchasing an ext hard drive for storage as well.
