I made a USB key with Android-x86-4.4-RC1. It works perfectly fine in my wife's run of the mill walmart laptop. The mouse movement is as smooth as can be and is an enjoyable experience.
When I put it in my desktop (i7-4770k, ROG Impact, etc)the mouse controls are terrible, I move the mouse and about 10 seconds later the on screen pointer will move. I have tried using wired and wireless mice and keyboards. they all have the same result. I have tried all the different USB ports available.
I am only having this issue in the Android, both Win7 and Mint function properly. I am guessing it is because the laptops input device is built in and the desktops are connected via USB? Is this a problem for Android?
Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?
Thank you.

First of all you say that you put it into your desktop and its horrible. It get quite confusing.
But if your refering to the laptop as being a android laptop then its probably because the keyboard is plugged in interenally. Either that or its bluetooth. Either way my guess its because of it being internal, if not disable the bluetooth. And it might also be the fact that when you plug it in it might be the usb type. Google the differences between Micro usb a / b.

The laptop is runing win7, the desktop is running win 8, the android 4.4 is on a USB drive. The current OS has nothing to do with how the live USB operates. The android software works fine on the win 7 laptop with a built in mouse and touchpad. On the desktop the mouse movement is extremely choppy like I said before, I have tried various methods to make it work and have come up short. Now I am just trying to understand why it behaves this way and if there is anything that can be done to solve it. Like I said it if perfectly fine on the win 7 laptop by acer. I tried it on my old alienware m9700 and it wouldn't even boot up, and in another desktop running windows 7 but it never loaded, just a blank black screen. Thank you for your thoughts.

Oh ive gotcha now. Its really weird. Android has build in usb drivers, so it should be the same. So in theory they should be exactly the same. It sounds to me that there is input lag, like the information is getting through to the processer very late. And it shouldn't stop the other laptops from loading, unless its detecting it as a bootable usb, but then it should just skip over it. But that may be preventing it from starting, so you could plug it in after android has booted. But with a processer like yours it should be barly breaking a sweat, so unless a x64 bit os would make a difference? Not sure tho.
What mouse are you using?

At first I was using the Logitech k400 wireless keyboard with built-in mouse pad, but it had no effect what so ever, just a non responsive plank. So then I tried a Logitech wireless mouse, but got the same result, from there I plugged in an "Onn" wired keyboard, which did work, I then plugged in a Logitech mouse (it was at least 5-7yrs old) and it did respond but with terrible lag. I then plugged in a Dell mouse that was also fairly old(I never throw anything away) but it had the same result.
I thought maybe it was because I had OC the processor to 4.4 Ghz and maybe it was making it unstable, so I reset the bios to its original settings but that also had no effect. Any other OS I run has no problems. Even Linux Mint worked fine from the USB. Idk, maybe its because its a RC. I have thought about trying to run Android 4.3 instead, to see if it were any different, but haven't done so as of yet.

Its just really weird. I just cant wrap my head around why it was working on the laptop but not on the computer. Its just really... odd. Sorry but ive burnt through all of my ideas and the only thing i can think of is because its rc. But then again it shouldnt make a differece, the ports would be the same. The drivers would be the same... Unless you have bluetooth on the desktop and thats inter fairing thinking that theres a blue tooth pointing device? But if linux mint is working... grrr. It should we working !

I do have Bluetooth, its part of a bluetooth/WiFi module that come with the ROG Impact mobo. I will try disabling it in BIOS and try it again and see if that makes a difference. Thank you for all your help so far. Hopefully the bluetooth will make a differnce. Come to think about it, I don't think the acer laptop has Bluetooth. Maybe that's it. Will try when I get home tonight and let you know the result.
