Knowing your computer specs is always a necessity.

Your system should be ripping up those games listed at High/Ultra.
This is odd, because a game you've said works fine.

You should stress test your Hardware components, and also check for problems with the Game.
Make sure you don't have anything interfering with the program while it runs, like something in the background, which could crash a game.
Also, it could be a buggy game or corrupted game data files.

Re-install all your games, and if nothing works, reset your whole computer.

i ran every test i could think of. its not the games because its very unlikely that all my games are corrupted (and one of the games was newly installed when i played it). theres nothing running in the background that would stop the games from running.

my windows event log showed a sysdata.xml video hardware error. but i have no clue what that means and no idea what to do to fix it.

so far i have: reinstalled my vc drivers, ran a memory check (no errors), a hd disk scan (no errors), uninstalled unused programs, used ccleaner and cleaned the pc and registery, disabled my firewall, updated my bios.

i honestly dont know what else to do.

Do you have problems using programs and apps outside of games or is it just games that won't respond

Dude the log suggest your video hardware is faulty. Have you reconnected or gpu or tried it on another machine or tried another card in your machine

its the games. (some or steam games some arent)

for exmaple, nether and dayz i run through stream. and rift i dont and it does the same thing.

league of legends and minecraft (offline single player) work fine so far. well league lags really hard but thats cuz my internet was crapping out but comcast came today and fixed the issue.
