I bought a msi gtx 780ti about 5 days ago. Upgraded from a gtx 650ti. Simple and easy question, on the 650 I got 200+ Steady fps on league of legends on the 780 I get 110. It varies but when I'm 20 min in it's about 110. I start the game with over 300 fps and it just decays. Is the card too advanced for my set up? Lay some ideas on me please. I will probably reinstalling my OS and see how that goes. Just incase I screwed up my uninstall and install of the new drivers..

You build is super nice and no problems with bottle-necking whatsoever. I believe they are driver errors try and install the latest drivers as of now they are 332.21 (or probably 332.__) not sure. Also check if other games are having problems as well as it might be some kind of compatibility issue.

Just a question here, if you were already getting over 200 FPS in a game what made you want to spend more money for a better GPU?

When installing the latest drivers check the clean install box. If you still have problems you might want to try Driver Sweeper and then re-install the latest drivers.

If you were getting 200 fps with your GTX 650ti why did you feel the need to uprade to the GTX 780ti? Do you have super high speed eyes or something?

Probably to play other games, which are more demanding.
Such as BF4, Crysis 3.

Yes but the OP only picks on League of Legends as a problem. Does he have fps trouble with other games or is it specific to that one game. It helps to narrow down the problem.

The drivers/installation might be an issue. Or possibly with the new card you have some new settings that got enabled. Did the game "Auto-Detect Settings" when you first started it up with the 780 Ti? Maybe you're now running at Ultra specification, when before you were at Medium or High.

Check your in-game settings, but then also check out your Nvidia Control Panel settings. Look at your game specific tab for the League of Legends entry. Sometimes there are those odd settings that are not really well supported by a particular game. Look at your Ambient Occlusion settings, Transparency Supersampling, etc., anything that looks out of place or overly excessive.

In the end, you're getting great framerates, so the "problem" isn't really a problem, more of a mystery as to why the performance seems less than you were expecting.

So i have been messing around with the Control Panel settings like you suggested and I enabled "Single Display Performance Mode" and disabled some other features and I'm back to around 200 fps on ultra or "Very High" as League calls it. Im happy thanks for your suggestions.

For some reason that defaults to "Multiple display performance mode". Not sure why, everyone on a single monitor needs to change it from the defaults.
