Hello there. So just today I setup a altcoin mining rig. Everything is housed in an open air custom built wood frame. All of the parts being used in this setup here are shown in this link:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?I...

So everything has been built today and put together in a wooden rectangular frame. The motherboard is not on standoffs it is simply laying on top of 2, one inch wide square wood dowel rods. All of the proper cables are plugged in and the rig uses two 850w power supplies that are linked together by Antec's OC Link cable. Now, I have not been able to get to the bios or get anywhere at all. Because its not connected to a case you have to jump the motherboard power switch connection with a screwdriver tip. Here is what has happened each time I have tried doing so. The power supply that is directly connected to the motherboard through the atx connector on the motherboard turns on briefly (fan spins), and then seconds later turns off and the fan dies. The second power supply connected to the first supply through the OC Link however turns on and stays on. This second power supply is connected to the hard drive and 4 graphics cards. The hard drive is the only other thing that turns on. The first power supply is connected to the motherboard, the cpu fan, and 2 graphics cards. None of the graphics cards or the cpu turn on at all. The motherboard has no led light to indicate anything by the way. I have checked all of the cables and I have unplugged all the GPUs but nothing different happened. I also switched the power supplies so that the first one now connected to the hard drive and the second one is connected to the motherboard. Nothing changed. I saw in other posts that you have to listen for the mobo to beep? What do you need in order to hear it do this? I really do not know what to do from here. Is it possible that the motherboard is just somehow dead? Is there a way I could test this? Also how is it that when I short the power switch connectors on the motherboard it can turn on the power supplies but the power supplies dont seem to then be able to power the motherboard. (If the motherboard was dead could you still short it and have the power supplies turn on?) Sorry this is so long. I'm in desperate need for help.

if no light turns on, on the motherboard, then it isn't working at all.
^^That is if the motherboard actually has any lights to indicate power.
