It depends on the motherboard you have installed, which you need to clarify because what you have written means nothing.

the motherboard will have to be listed, different boards may have a vary of 2-4 slots which will make prediction wrong. The speed is also a factor as if it is DDR3, speeds may be unsupported ect..

could you link up a photo so I could try and identify the board?

If it has one slot, Then the likely chance is it'll support a max of either 4GB Ram or 8GB running at 1333MHz, since this is LGA 775, it is most likely a max of 4GB at 1333MHz. But there should be 2 ram slots on the m.otherboard

actually it has 2 slots for RAM, running windows 7 64 bit, processor is
pentium 4 631 3.0GHZ, the board model according to what i can see is: MODEL: ATLTAIR - 60:03G,, PCB #: 08G11012113*S.I,, REV: MP1.1,,,,,,,,,, Bus Speed 200.0 MHz
Rated Bus Speed 800.0 MHz
Stock Core Speed 3000 MHz
Stock Bus Speed 200 MHz

2 ram slots, with the info from your motherboard I can get, It supports a max of 8GB Running at 1333MHz (OC or standard), that means each slot has a maximum compatibility of a 4GB 1333MHz memory module.
