I'm getting a new computer and need help with picking the processor. I'll use the computer for gaming and video editing and was wondering how much of a difference an i5 would make over an i7. Would it be like a massive difference for editing videos because right now I edit videos on a core 2 duo which takes about 30-80 min to render in 20min of footage but it's what I'm used to so if a $100 difference will only get me like 1 min faster speeds then I'll probably get the i5 or if the framerate difference would be like 2 or 3 frames.
