MSI Z87 MPower Motherboard has 2 x 8 pin CPU connectors labelled JPWR2 and JPWR3. Do both need to be connected to the power Supply?

I only received one cable with the Corsair Power supply and the MSI manual is rather vague. Allit says is "These connectors allow you to connect an ATX power supply."

It can be powered on using the single 8 pin connector.
The second one is just for boasting super overclocks and breaking records stuff.
(I have powered a Z87 mobo even with 4pin ATX power connector but keeping in mind the fact that the system was in stock condition)

I know..msi should give us newbs better instruction..ma msi x99a gaming 9 ack had the obvious 24 pin on side of mobo, then two on top. A jpwr2 (a 8 pin) and a jpwr3 (4 pin).. all my ax1200i had for my atx power was the 24 pin and a 8 pin..but i had another 8 pin connector for pcie or another that could be split so i pluged that into the jpwr2 3 and in the atx cpu 8 pin slot on the psu..hopeing it will work as ive yet to power her up..still waiting on a few other ordered parts to fly in
