I just bought a 430w psu for my new build due to th estimated watts being 360w. But someone has said I would need a bigger one.

It needs to run an i5 4570 and a gtx 760.

Would 430w be enough?

sadly no. no matter what brand for that build you need 650-750 watts

Doesn't even come close. A 600-650 watt PSU would suit this kind of build perfectly.

The XFXPRO 550W will power those specs no problem.

Do you already have it? Maybe via internet there is a cooling down period in which you can return and exchange it.

It should be enough, even when already purchased and you not being able to return it.

Which psu do you have=make/model? Or does the 430watt have to pcie power connectors? Otherwise should you use a molex->pcie connector to power the card.
It does matter which manufacturer and model it is from.

A GeForce GTX 760 needs at least 30 amps on the 12 volt rail and a 500 watt power supply.

To continue: with two 6 pin PCI-EX connectors.

I was going to link the same video. It's amazing how little a system actually needs. At the same time, I wouldn't want my PSU running at that high capacity for extended gaming sessions.

i have a cx750w psu.(i5 3570k @ 4,5ghz and 7950) and i know it is a little overkill. but on lowerend psu(450w-400w) you dont get all the connecters you want
