So I'm planning on upgrading to a R9 270x and I realized that I have an older power supply that only contains one 6-pin PCI-Express cable for power...and I need two. Luckily the r9 270x comes with a molex to pci-express cable but I don't know how to use it. I'm a beginner so i'm still learning this. Basically does anyone have a GOOD explained tutorial for this? Thank you!

Well just plug the two molex power pins of your PSU into that adapter and it converts them to a 6-pin power cable for the GPU.Then both can be plugged to your GPU.

But there is one concern does your PSU meet the minimum power requirement for this specific card? Can you please mention the brand and model of your PSU.

Yes that is a concern. I have a Corsair 430W 80+ Bronze and I'm trying to run a r9 270x (if not x then r9 270)

well you must give it a try, the thing wont explode i can assure you as its a Corsair it has a good overload protection.
If the system boot and is stable in gaming then you are good to go otherwise you will need to upgrade your PSU.
