HI I have a emachines el1200-01e and stock it has a Athlon 64 2650e 1.6 GHz.. I was reading that since it has a Am2 socket I could remove the old CPU and add a Amd Athlon 64 x2 CPU was thinking a 5600 or a 4200.

If I add this processor would it make a difference in normal day browsing email and office, video calls. Because now my pc is so slow on the web and other programs and just did a tune up and it has 2gb of ram.

or would any on that page fit

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600 will fit in your motherboard for sure. Will provide your pc great cpu speed boost and is dual core processor.

The web applications(Video calls, browsing, email) interaction time after opening on your pc aren't limited by any of hardware components like cpu and ram. If they are causing delays in opening when you click on them to open, then yes they might be caused due to either your cpu or ram.
Looking at your config and you computing use, you do multitasking involving applications that require memory. So i would suggest you to increase Ram by 2gb more and make it 4gb.

The only reason I suggested the 3800+ is because I googled your pc and someone successfully upgraded the same emachine as yours with that cpu.
There is pretty much no info on your set-up.
Using a different cpu and the unknown factor whether or not it would work with your bios is a risk.
