What's up Tom's,

I gave a friend my old ex 58 1366 mobo and i7 920 and i picked out some parts for him to make his own rig. For the case I selected this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168.... The cpu fan that I used when I had it was this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168....

I'm going to recommend that he get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... due to the first gen i7s getting hot. Does anybody know if the Hyper T4 will fit in the case shown above. No need to suggest the evo or another cooler. I'm sure the T4 will be fine for a stock 920. Just need to know if it fits. Thanks

The case is 184mm wide and the cooler just over 152mm tall so I would presume it fits. I had 212+ (160mm) in another Rosewill case that is only 6mm wider.

Well I suggested that he add another 120 mm fan on the side panel for intake. Will it still fit?

If it is mounted in the lower mounting position I believe it will, an optional cooler I would look at is the Hyper TX3 EVO which is 92mm fan and close to the T4 in performance.

That cooler doesnt fit 1366. it says 775, 1150 and 1155 along with some AMD sockets

oh there is an evo version of it. The one I saw on newegg didnt mention 1366. However if its only 92 mm, I might as well have him stay with the arctic freezer pro that I already got

The freezer is a good cooler.

Good lookin out I'll pick one of your responses as best answer. Last question. I actually have the hyper T4 and I want to know if and where I can buy an extra fan that come with it. I want two fans but i cant seem to find that fan that comes with the T4 as a stand alone item

It is just a normal 120mm CM PWM case fan. This one is close in rpm and CFM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... but many people get two identical ones and replace the original.

Cheaper here http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4b...

Um...how exactly do you get that to stay on a cpu heat sink????????

If you look in the pictures of the cooler in your newegg link you see that the cooler comes with two extra black plastic clips that you screw on the Fan and it fits just like the original fan using those clips.
