GA H61M S2V B3 no video coming through

I bought a 2nd hand gigabyte H61M S2V B3 motherboard from ebay. I cant seem to get it to work, dont know if its the MB or CPU (also 2nd hand). When I switch it on, the TV (also wont work with monitor) knows the connection is there but cant connect to the PC. Ive tried it with onboard graphics and also with 2 GPUs, A GT610 and a HD4550. I have also tried 2 different sticks of RAM.

Anyone know what the problem is.

Looks like its the motherboard. Im getting 1 short beep. That indicates its the RAM and the 3 sticks of RAM I used is known to work. I have contacted the seller to see if I can get a refund.

I disagree with you Phillip, yes at times you could buy a lemon, but that goes with buying anything from a car to a house. This is the first time I have bought something that doesnt work (computing wise). Yes it can make it more difficult to find out what the problem is.
